Kings Mountain 2016 Bacchus Pinot Noir (Santa Cruz Mountains)

Baked black-plum, spice-cake and shiitake aromas show on the somewhat dried out nose of this bottling. There's a nutmeg spice that dominates the palate, where extracted dark-fruit flavors are quite ripe. Matt Kettmann
