Kings Ridge 2011 Pinot Gris (Oregon)

This is tart and steely, with a flavor of pear skin rather than pear flesh, along with a green apple note and a whiff of grapefruit. Sharply acidic, it's a wine that should pair well with spicy Asian cuisine. Paul Gregutt
