Subtle scent on this wine's nose recalls fresh, ripe lemon peel. On the palate this zesty, lemony intensity carries on in a precise, driven fashion that is energetic and bold but also taut. Zestiness reverberates with its citric freshness and the wine comes across as infinitely cool, despite the warm year. It is bold, concentrated and long with lemon. Just a little heat shows on the dry finish. Anne Krebiehl MW
