Kitá 2016 Camp 4 Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon (Santa Ynez Valley)

There's a great amount of energy on the nose of this bottling, showing fresh berries alongside damp wood and chunky soil aromas. The palate is cohesive in offering all the elements of Cab, from dark berries at the core to touches of marjoram, oregano and cracked pepper. Tannins are apparent, but not obtrusive. Matt Kettmann
