Kluge Estate 2001 Brut Albemarle County Chardonnay (Virginia)

Shows some good potential, with ginger and toast aromas that develop into meaty, soy and mushroom flavors on the palate. Creamy mouthfeel, too. Too bad there's a hint of an odd, plastic-like note to the finish. Joe Czerwinski
