Knappogue Castle 1994 Very Special Reserve Irish Single Malt Whiskey

Flawless pale yellow color. The initial aroma is faint, weedy, grass-like and apple-like; it remains an uninteresting bouquet following aeration. The palate entry highlights grain and gum; at midpalate the core seems hollow as mildly stirring tastes of malt, chocolate covered strawberry and apples swim on the surface. Ends off-dry and timid. P.P.
