Kollwentz 2011 Leithagebirge Chardonnay (Burgenland)

Cellar Selection

A very young wine, this is still quite reticent at this stage. It is structured and austere with intense minerality and acidity. Complex on the palate, it's laced with wood, green fruits and a slowly evolving richness. This wine will need many years to develop fully, so give it at least six. Roger Voss
