Kontos 2015 Caimbry Pepper Bridge Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon (Walla Walla Valley (WA))

Anise, prune, vanilla, dried herb and cherry cordial aromas lead to ripe, full bodied dried fruit flavors, speckled with barrel spices. Vanilla notes linger on the finish, with the tannins giving a firm squeeze. There are good things happening, but the fruit seems quite evolved. Sean P. Sullivan
