Half Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, the rest Cab Franc, this is now a true (no Syrah) Bordeaux-style blend. The density and lushness are exceptional. A deep, textural palate is packed with ripe black fruits; and the finish layers in delicious coffee and chocolate accents. Tannins add some graininess to the mouthfeel.
