Kracher 2017 Nouvelle Vague Trockenbeerenauslese Nummer 4 Zweigelt (Burgenland)

A fleeting sense of rose petal is followed by notions of baked plum and slight smoke. The palate sweeps up those luscious plum flavors and adds candied Mandarin orange, cinnamon and an edge of chocolate. While this is lusciously sweet, there is a lovely sense of freshness and balance, making the viscous flow beautifully elegant. That note of chocolate on the finish sets a lovely accent.
