Kramer 2015 Estate Pinot Noir (Yamhill-Carlton)

Here's a palate-friendly mix of blueberry and cherry fruit, set in a sweetly toasty frame. The vines are 20–30 years old, and the wine was aged for 10 months in one-quarter new French oak barrels. There's a hint of volatility despite the rather low listed alcohol. Paul Gregutt
