Ku Dé Ta 2005 Tempranillo (La Mancha)

Ku Dé Ta is one of these new “global” brands with wines from Argentina, Spain, Chile, etc. This Tempranillo is decidedly stemmy and burnt. The nose shows acrid accents and green notes, which are followed by generic fruit, green herb and carob flavors. Not the type of wine that will improve. 8,000 cases made. Michael Schachner
