94pointsKuentz-Bas 2016 Pfersichberg Trois Châteaux Grand Cru Riesling (Alsace)

Ripe but wonderfully tangy notes of orange zest on the nose transmute into a wonderfully high-toned palate of citrus depth. Mandarins and tart oranges create a vision of utterly juicy but always tangy fruit. The palate is dry but it is the tingling freshness, countered by ample fruit, that sets the exciting moreish tone. Drink through 2030. Anne Krebiehl MW
