92pointsKuentz-Bas 2016 Pfersigberg Trois Châteaux Grand Cru Gewurztraminer (Alsace)

A nose of pure, juicy and very ripe peach makes for a very inviting opening. The palate follows with an even fuller, even riper picture of that peach, supported by sweetness. This is juicy, flowing, expressive aromatic in its peachiness and tempered both by lemon-zest notes and a phenolic backdrop to finish with just a slight sweetness. Lovely. Anne Krebiehl MW
