Kuentz-Bas 2017 Pinot Gris (Alsace)

A shy nose reveals very little but the palate of this wine offers mellow, ripe, yellow pear spread across vivid freshness on a properly dry body. It shows a little alcoholic warmth but once this wine is paired with food, its subtlety will play out. Gentle gingerbread spices play in the backgound. Anne Krebiehl MW
