Kuentz-Bas 2018 Pinot Gris (Alsace)

Creamy, almost buttery notes of pear dominate the nose on this wine and give a sense of richness. The creaminess continues on the rounded, mellow palate that has a distinct sense of maple-syrup spice and almond bitterness. This mellow, generously fruited and spiced wine comes together on the medium-sweet finish. Anne Krebiehl MW
