Kula 2017 Viognier (Paso Robles)

Light and clean with even aromas of peach syrup, concentrated honeydew and a hint of wood, this fresh and bright bottling from a winery whose name means “gold” in Hawaiian includes 6% Picpoul Blanc. Citrusy flavors start the palate as the tropical touches linger in the background, wrapped in a racy texture with lots of zing into the finish. Matt Kettmann
