La Fleur's 2017 At Altitude Sangiovese (South Coast)

Very light in the glass, this bottling shows tangy cherry, peppercorns and a flash of light balsamic vinegar on the nose. The palate is tangy, with red-plum skins, and makes for a pleasant, easy-drinking sip. Matt Kettmann
