La Grand Comtadine 2019 Premières Vendanges Red (Vacqueyras)

Youthful, sun-kissed raspberry and strawberry flavors abound in this easy drinking blend of Grenache (60%) and Syrah (40%). More primary in expression than this producer's Héritiers Cheron-Misset bottling of Vacqueyras, it's a juicy, brightly balanced red with silk-edged tannins and a delicately spiced, violet-candy finish. Best now–2025. Anna Lee C. Iijima
