La Lieff 2019 Alamo Creek Ranch Rosé of Grenache (San Luis Obispo County)

A pale shade of pink in the glass, this bottling, made by Kris Curran this vintage, is soft and extremely inviting on the nose with hints of cotton candy, light strawberry and rose petals. It's expertly taut on the palate, where a chalky grip upholds crisp flavors of pluot and fresh lemon as waves of vibrant acidity push into the finish. Matt Kettmann
