Blackberry, blueberry, tea and leather aromas are blunted by a fairly heavy blanket of oak. This Bonarda is full and creamy on the palate, with sticky tannins. Resiny, minty berry flavors include a whack of oaky clove, while this is woody tasting and thick in feel on the finish. Michael Schachner
