Labouré-Roi 2002 Pommard (Pommard)

Smells of dried spices and earth, but alsop shows hints of alcoholic warmth and sun-baked blackberries. Earth and tobacco flavors predominate on the palate, with a dried-fruit finish and some astringent tannins. Seems to be past peak already. Joe Czerwinski
