Lachini 2017 The Grape Republic Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

This budget label delivers the goods once again, with pretty fruit flavors of cranberry and strawberry, highlighted with hints of baking spices. It spent 22 months in French oak, which has smoothed out any roughness. There's an underlying minerality which pulls everything into balance. Drink now and over the next two years. Paul Gregutt
