Lafage 2017 La Grande Cuvée Blanc White (Côtes du Roussillon)

Editors' Choice

A blend of old-vine Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris and Macabeu planted on schist soils, this wine opens with stunningly beautiful bouquet, offering pronounced aromas of musk melon, peach, nectarine and pressed yellow flowers as well as hints of peony and orange blossom. The lush palate is slightly round and full, but pleasantly so, and balanced by ample acidity and a subtle woody texture to lift the fruity weight and lend structure. Drink now–2023. Lauren Buzzeo
