No perfume smells as good as this wine. It is like sniffing a cup of Ceylon tea infused with ripe blackberries and a slice of fresh ginger. Notes of sandalwood and Thai basil only add to the allure. The wine feels silky and full in the mouth, with cassis, tobacco, cedar and bittersweet dark-chocolate flavors holding court for a good long time. The waltz between tannins, acidity and fruit is perfectly timed. Enjoy now until 2030. Michael Alberty
