Ripe plum and berry aromas come with floral accents as well as touches of horse hide and leather. The palate is firm and direct, with balanced tannins and acidity working with flavors of dark berry fruits, chocolate, pepper and spice. The finish is chocolaty, with hints of vanilla, herbs and heat. Michael Schachner
