88pointsLambert 2017 Mustang Sally Shiraz (Barossa Valley)

This Barossa Shiraz veers on the lighter brighter side of the road than most, although it's still a fairly full-figured wine. A medley of red berry fruit, mint, mocha and cloves make up the nose, while the palate is satiny in texture and wound by soft but structured tannins amidst prickly savory brambly tones. There's an appealing fruity and spice finish. Christina Pickard
