Lambert Bridge 2001 Chardonnay (Sonoma County)

Despite being clean and well made, there's not a lot of excitement in this earthy wine. It is dominated by acids, some dusty tannins and flavors of citrus and dried herbs. The finish is dry and tart. On its own, doesn't offer a lot of immediate pleasure, although goat cheese and similar fare will show it off.
