Landform 2019 Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

Young and tannic, this is a chewy mouthful of Willamette Valley fruit. What stands out at the moment are the thick tannins, with a mix of green and black tea astringency around tart rhubarb and pomegranate fruit. It's pleasantly aromatic and chewy but comes up short in the finish. More bottle age may or may not open it up. Paul Gregutt
