Landmark 2001 Overlook Chardonnay (Sonoma)

Declares itself firmly on the side of minerals, slate, steel, citrus fruits and acidity. You get the idea. It's on the opposite side of the spectrum from lush, tropical fruity renditions. Reminds you of those old California Chablis, in the best sense, although this wine has an incomparably better pedigree. Seems built for aging.
