Chunky, fruity, lots of oak; yes, it's the perfect bistro wine. Raspberry and vanilla aromas, some red licorice on the chewy palate, and then a snappy finish that hangs around for a while. It's Cab Franc Napa-style, and for a youthful wine, it's easy to drink but still offers enough nuance and character to satisfy the discerning wine drinker.
