Lanson NV Extra Age Brut (Champagne)

A new blend launched in 2009, with the aim of recreating a 19th century style of Champagne without malolactic fermentation, in order to give freshness and the ability to age in bottle. This first bottling already has a fine toasty character, but balanced with the crispest of apples, citrus and a mineral texture. Certainly worth keeping a few bottles, but delicious to drink now.
