Lapostolle 2001 Apalta Red (Colchagua Valley)

Full and forceful, with aromas of green herbs piercing the cassis and cherry aromas that carry the bouquet. With molasses, cassis and black-plum flavors, it seems to have all that the wine is known for; however, there's also a green, tomato-like presence that may stem from the higher level of Carmenère that's going into the wine.
