Pungent and oily on the nose, but things fail to progress from there. Eventually the bouquet turns peppery and nutty, while the palate is pithy, drying and tastes like barely ripe nectarine and green banana. For whatever reason this Rapel Valley SB continues as one of the few weak spots in the Casa Lapostolle portfolio.
