Lapostolle 2009 Cuvée Alexandre - Apalta Vineyard Merlot (Colchagua Valley)

Berry, brown sugar and prune aromas are nice, while the palate is tannic, with a rugged mouthfeel that should be softened by hearty foods. This tastes of plum and dark berry, while the finish is oaky, chocolaty, spicy and strong. Michael Schachner
