This wine is 100% varietal and entirely estate, from vines planted beginning in 1968. Brick and tar rise from the nose, followed by polished, luxurious waves of black-cherry compote and boysenberry. Smoothly textured and ringed in minerality, it's well integrated and balanced, despite a full body and length.
