Lavender Elysian Fields Gin

The concentrated indigo hue is hard to miss. The aroma is earthy and only slightly floral, showing coriander and orris root. By comparison, the palate opens with a full-on perfumed floral blast, resounding with lilac, violet and lavender, and finishes with faint echoes of anise and black pepper, plus a waxy honey note. Mix into drinks that traditionally use crème de violette, like a Water Lily or Aviation. Kara Newman
