L'Aventure 2002 Estate Syrah (Paso Robles)

Not for the faint of heart, with 16.5% alcohol, but that's the price of fermenting this wine to dryness. Robust, with strong cherry and blackberry flavors, decent acidity and dusty tannins. A great slab of meat will deal with it.
