Lawson's Dry Hills 2002 Pinot Noir (Marlborough)

Very good Pinot at a very good price. It's actually somewhat reminiscent of some Russian River Valley examples, with ample cherry and cola flavors amplified by hints of birch root and wintergreen. Caramel creeps in on the finish. Joe Czerwinski
