Aged on the lees prior to disgorgement in the spring of 2018, this vintage brut starts out hard and tight, with tart cherry fruit. It breathes open and changes quickly, showing signs of oxidation and hints of dried, candied fruits. It seems to be quickly approaching the point of breaking up, so drink soon. Paul Gregutt
