Le Corti 2000 Don Tommaso (Chianti Classico)

The bouquet is nicely perfumed and floral, with noticeable oak and spice augmenting plum aromas. The palate offers some heft, although it's maybe a bit overoaked. But that oak does contribute mocha and coffee flavors. The finish is expressive and tannic enough to apply a firm grip. —M.S. Michael Schachner
