The nose is a bit shy but eventually reveals subdued aromas suggesting leather, underbrush, chopped herb and dark-skinned fruit. The robust, enveloping palate doles out fleshy blackberry, mature morello cherry, licorice and vanilla framed in solid tannins. Drink 2019–2026.
