Tastes bold, intense and a bit rustic and rambunctious, the way a good young Shiraz should. Black pepper, earth and leather notes draped over blackberry fruit. It's full and verging on syrupy in the mouth, finishing with a trace of heat and firm but ripe tannins. —J.C.
