L'Ecole No. 41 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon (Columbia Valley (WA))

The grapes are sourced from older vines located throughout the Columbia Valley. This is solid and not flashy, with wild brambly berries, earth and loam, a streak of woody bark, and overall a Bordeaux-like character. It was aged 22 months in one third new oak barrels. Paul Gregutt
