Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) is in the lead, followed by Merlot (25%), Malbec (10%) and Cabernet Franc. The aromas are redolent with notes of black currant, black raspberry, black licorice, fresh herb and spice. The palate is tightly wound, with layers of dark-fruit flavors, with slightly dry tannins bringing a grip on the finish. The tannins seem a bit unresolved at present. Sean P. Sullivan
