L'Ecole No. 41 2019 Apogee Pepper Bridge Vineyard Red (Walla Walla Valley (WA))

This wine is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 10% Malbec, and 5% Cabernet Franc. The aromas bring notes of plum, green herb, flower, cinnamon and a whiff of prune. The fruit seems similarly slightly dried out on the palate. Tart acids finish it off, with baking spice throughout. Give it significant time in the cellar to see if the pieces meld. Tasted twice with consistent notes. Sean P. Sullivan
