Leconfield 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon (Coonawarra)

This vintage is just as rich and fruity as the previous one, but it feels more harmonious. It's dense and chocolaty, with plums, red berries and baking spices. Tannins are big boned but nicely structured, reining in the plush, tangy fruit. A solid wintertime drop for the big red wine lover in your life. Drink now–2027. Christina Pickard
