The nose of this wine brings forth characters of soap, slightly sweet oak, red and black cherries and potpourri. The medium-bodied palate is more promising: The fruit is brambly and there's an earthy core that comes into play. Tightly wound tannins meld with plentiful acidity, indicating that there's more life left in this wine yet. Drink now–2027.
