Legaris 2002 Crianza (Ribera del Duero)

Jammy aromas with a lot of bramble make for a jumbled nose. The palate is thin and racy, with nondescript flavors that veer toward cherry. Finishes overtly buttery and cheesy, a result of too much oak being applied to a wine that couldn't handle it. Michael Schachner
