Lemelson 2009 Meyer Vineyard Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

Perhaps due to its youth, this seems to be the lightest and fruitiest of the 2009 Lemelson lineup. Tart cranberry flavors show plenty of acid and spice, with the fruit echoing a hint of sweet tomato through the finish. It brings to mind the substance and whole cluster flavors of a particularly ripe Beaujolais. Paul Gregutt
